Review and Lip Swatch of Studded Kiss shade "Bow N Arrow" by Kat Von D

This is my honest review of the "Bow n Arrow" shade after wearing it for a few weeks.

I have never tried any lipsticks from the KVD line before this one, so I was pretty excited. Right off the bat I loved the packaging of the lipstick and the nude color since it was something I could see myself wearing day to day.

I have worn this lipstick multiple times now to get a feel of how I would like it. The color is true to the bullet and the color payoff is great, no streaking and fading. The color just wears off naturally which is nice. The lipstick feels a bit stiff in the formula (I feel it gets better with use and once you warm it up on your lips) and frankly feels slightly drying on my lips. That’s my major complaint since my lips are prone to dryness.

The formula of this color compares well to some MAC lipsticks I have that are matte (not my favorites) that are slightly drying, but workable. It does emphasize my lip lines as it wears which can be annoying.

I do like it since the color is an amazing nude for me. I would be interested to know if other colors aren’t as drying on my lips.
